Disabling an advocate's account is a reversible process that retains the advocate's points, badges, and interactions. This section provides detailed instructions on how to disable an account and what happens once an account is disabled.
Disabling an Individual Advocate's Account
To disable an individual advocate's account, click the pencil icon in the advocate’s profile. An image below illustrates the icon's location.
Alternatively, click on the advocate's name in the Advocates tab to preview their profile. Then click Actions to find the Lock Account option.
A flag will appear next to the advocate's name once the account is disabled, indicating the status change. The account can be re-enabled at any time.

Effects of Disabling an Advocate's Account
When an advocate's account is Disabled/Locked, they will experience the following restrictions:
- Cannot log in and will see a message stating their account is disabled.
- Will not receive any email communication from the hub, including challenge notifications or challenge digests.
- Will be removed from all leaderboards.
