Overview
This article provides guidance on how to schedule reward publications and set limits on reward redemptions within a rewards program. It includes step-by-step instructions for configuring publishing options and managing redemption limits.
Information
Follow these steps to edit your reward publishing options, allowing you to schedule when rewards are published and to limit the number of redemptions a reward can have.
- Navigate to the Programs > Rewards page and select the reward you wish to configure.
- Click on the Publishing Options button.
-
In the publishing options screen, you can set:
- The maximum number of redemptions allowed for the reward.
- The publication date for the reward.
- The expiration date for the reward.
- Click Save to apply your settings.
Once the redemption limit is reached, the reward will be automatically removed from the Rewards Catalog visible to Advocates. In the Administrator view, the reward will be marked with a Limit Reached flag. To remove this flag and allow more redemptions, increase the limit in the Publishing Settings.
Notes:
- The participant limit counts the total number of redemptions for the reward, not per individual user.
- The limit counter is cumulative and does not reset upon reaching the limit. To adjust for new periods, the limit must be increased accordingly.
- To reset the limit counter, the reward must be archived and then republished.
