Introduction

Captchas are an effective tool utilized on public-facing forms to prevent spam, bot activity, and other malicious attacks from compromising the integrity of your system. Influitive understands the importance of security, and therefore offers Captcha integration as an optional feature for our security-minded customers. By default, this feature is disabled, but it can be enabled upon request. Influitive employs Google's ReCaptcha Engine, which utilizes industry-leading algorithms to accurately distinguish between humans and automated entities.

Captcha Implementation

Influitive has implemented Captcha functionality on the following pages to ensure an added layer of security:

Sign-in page: Users attempting to log into their accounts will encounter a Captcha prompt if their activity is deemed suspicious.

Sign-up page: New users registering for an account will be subjected to Captcha verification if their activity raises suspicion.

Join Code: For participants attempting to sign up via a join code, Captcha validation may be required if their traffic is flagged as potentially harmful.

Forgot Password: When users request password retrieval, Captcha authentication might be triggered if their activity exhibits suspicious patterns.

Triggering Captcha Prompts

To strike a balance between security and user convenience, Captcha prompts are only triggered for the most suspicious traffic. Influitive's Captcha system employs advanced heuristics and algorithms to analyze user behavior, enabling it to identify potential threats accurately. This intelligent approach ensures that genuine users can proceed with their activities seamlessly while mitigating the risk of unauthorized access or abuse.

Enabling Captcha

To enable Captcha on your Influitive hub, kindly submit a ticket to the Influitive Support Team at support@influitive.com. The Influitive Support Team will promptly review your request and take the necessary steps to enable Captcha on your hub.
