Activate Influitive Sendoso Integration

There are two parts to this process.

First, you would need to log in to your AdvocateHub as an administrator. Head over to the gear icon > Integration > Search for the Sendoso card and click Manage

Once inside, click on "Enable Integration".

The second part is to contact Influitive Support (support@influitive.com) to enable the Integration from the back-end for your AdvocateHub. Please send us your contact account who has access to your Sendoso Account. Once it's enabled, you should see the following section when creating a new reward. We will also need to jump on a quick 5-minute screen share call with you in order to authenticate your Influitive and Sendosos instances.


Setup Gifts in your Storefront

For each reward created in Sendoso that is to be integrated with Influitive Rewards, please note the Touch ID that is located in the URL of the touch (1458 in the example below). This ID is necessary for configuring the reward within Influitive.

If the  touch is a sized item then also note the sizes applied to the item.

Please note that you cannot use 'Bundles' with this integration. Only Gift Cards, Physical Items, and Physical Sized-Items.


Configuring Sendoso Rewards in Influitive

After the rewards are configured in Sendoso and the integration is connected, Sendoso properties can be configured within the Influitive reward itself to facilitate an integration upon the reward being fulfilled. This setup is different depending on whether the reward is standard physical mail, e-gift, or a sized item.

To ensure a gift can be integrated, please ensure the reward is created as a manual reward. Administrator approval is required whether the administrator approval checkbox is checked or unchecked

I. Configuring Sendoso physical mail Rewards in Influitive

1. If the reward requires physical shipment like a handwritten note, direct mail, or an item without any sized options - the following details need to be filled out in the "Auto Fulfillment Data" section in the "headline" tab within the reward configuration:

  • Provider: Sendoso
  • Type (Optional): Type of Reward (no space)
  • SKU: Touch ID


2. Additionally, you can add a personal message -  a custom message that would be delivered to the advocate. This message will populate the Notecard field when the Sendoso reward is sent. You can use the following merge field syntax to customize the message.

  • First Name: {{first_name}} 
  • Last Name: {{last_name}}
  • Company: {{company}}

3. Ensure that the "Shipping Information" checkbox is  checked for the reward in the "redeeming" tab.  This will force the advocate to provide their shipping address upon redemption.

II. Configuring a Sendoso eGift Reward in Influitive

1. If the reward is an eGift the following details are to be filled out in the Auto Fulfillment Data section:

  • Provider: Sendoso
  • Type: egift | dollar amount (numbers only, no symbols such as $ or £)
  • SKU: Touch ID


2. Additionally, you can add a personal message  -  a custom message that would be delivered to the advocate. This message will populate the Notecard field when the Sendoso reward is sent. You can use the following syntax for advocate fields.

  • First Name: {{first_name}} 
  • Last Name: {{last_name}}
  • Company: {{company}}

3. For eGifts, ensure that the "Shipping Information" checkbox is unchecked

III. Configuring a 'Sized Item in Influitive

Items that require a size mean we have to ask the advocate which size they would like (S, M, L, XL, etc.).

1. If the reward is a sized item, the following details are to be filled out in the Auto Fulfillment Data section:

  • Provider: Sendoso
  • Type (Optional): Type of Reward
  • SKU: Touch ID

2. Additionally you can add a personal message -  a custom message that would be delivered to the advocate. This message will populate the Notecard field when the Sendoso reward is sent. You can use the following syntax for advocate fields.

  • First Name: {{first_name}} 
  • Last Name: {{last_name}}
  • Company: {{company}}

3. In the Reward setup, a custom question needs to be added.  Then configure the labels for your sized item as response answers*.

*Note : The values for the sizes should match exactly what the name of the styled item is in your Sendoso instance
