2015/12/01 Release Notes
This sprint was a light sprint which mainly included enhancements to the mobile app. We are continuing to improve the performance and responsiveness of the AdvocateHub on mobile. As always, send any questions you might have about this release to support.
- Close button now easier to tap on Mobile
- Taps are more responsive on Mobile
- “Back to Forums” button more intuitive on Mobile
Close button now easier to tap on Mobile
We’ve increased the tappable area of the button so that it is easier for advocates to hit. This should decrease the frustration some advocates might have experienced on mobile.
Taps are more responsive on Mobile
By default, each on Mobile browsers there is a 0.3 sec delay after you tap for that tap to be registered as a tap. The reason browsers do that is because they are trying to see if you are double tapping (like what you do to zoom in) or single tapping. We removed that delay since there is no reason for advocates to double tap in the AdvocateHub.
“Back to Forums” button more intuitive on Mobile
Depending on feedback we got from advocates, navigation to go back to a forum from inside a topic was not clear on mobile as compared to desktop. Therefore, we made a small design tweak to make it more intuitive.
