In-Progress Challenge Reminder

Introduction

In-Progress Challenge Reminder is a new feature designed to increase engagement and completion rates in our program. These reminders are sent to members who have initiated but not completed a Challenge, particularly multi-stage ones. This guide will help you manage and customize these reminders effectively to enhance member satisfaction, engagement, and activity completion.

Understanding In-Progress Challenge Reminders

These reminders serve to re-engage members by inviting them back to the program to complete their ongoing Challenges and earn points. By keeping members informed about their in-progress activities and encouraging them to complete them, these reminders significantly contribute to better communication and increased member satisfaction.

Managing Default Reminder Settings

As an admin, you have complete control over the reminder settings for all Challenges. You can enable or disable reminders by default, define the number of days before a reminder is sent, and edit the subject line and body text of the reminder email. The platform also allows you to preview the reminder email before it's sent, ensuring it meets your requirements. The settings page for configuring this looks similar to the following:

Setting Custom Reminders

To meet diverse needs, our program allows you to customize reminders for each Challenge. You can enable or disable them and set custom timeframes as needed. This flexibility enables you to schedule follow-up reminders based on the urgency and importance of each Challenge. To set a custom reminder for a specific challenge, select edit under the "Challenge In-progress Reminder" section. The option should appear as the following;

Once you click on edit, you will be brought to a page where you can set the custom reminder for that specific challenge. This is how the page will look like:

About the Reminder Email

The reminder email is automatically dispatched after a set number of days of a Challenge remaining incomplete. It provides a roll-up of all in-progress Challenges and includes a direct link to each Challenge. Here is an example of what this email looks like:
